About Erika Moore

Erika Moore is redefining movement, creativity, and wellness.

A dancer, speaker, arts administrator, and wellness advocate, Erika Moore blends the power of the arts with health, fitness, and culture to inspire transformation. From performing on major stages as a child to shaping arts education, corporate wellness, and movement-based healing, her work proves that creativity isn’t just an expression—it’s a force for change.

Erika’s journey began with early performances for the LA Sparks, Lakers, and Clippers before training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. While pursuing her studies at Arizona State University, a knee injury redirected her from dance performance to arts leadership. She earned a B.S. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and later returned to ASU for her MFA in Dance, where she developed artist residencies for luminaries like Dance Theatre of Harlem, Camille A. Brown, and Philip Glass.

Her career spans corporate wellness, movement coaching, and arts consulting, with experience leading initiatives at Valley of the Sun United Way, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. She has also brought her expertise abroad, living in Hunan, China, to teach leadership through the arts as part of an international program.

As an athlete, Erika competed on Team USA in the 2024 World Triathlon, has completed multiple endurance races, and continues to push the limits of performance and movement. Her dedication to blending physical, creative, and mental well-being informs her approach to fitness and holistic wellness.

A recognized leader in the arts, Erika is the recipient of multiple honors, including the Black Dance Horizon Award and an international arts leadership grant. Through Moore Arts, she continues to energize workplaces, promote healing through movement, strengthen mind-body connection, and transform spaces. Whether on stage, in a boardroom, or guiding movement practices, she remains committed to shaping a future where creativity moves us all.

Moore Arts

“The arts are not just a nice thing to have or do if there is free time or if one can afford it. Rather, paintings and poetry, music and fashion, design and dialogue, they all define who we are as a people and provide an account of our history for the next generation.”

Michelle Obama
